Stigma Free 313
Welcome to the NAMI Detroit affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI Detroit is a grassroots organization, run entirely by volunteers. Everyone involved with NAMI Detroit has been directly impacted by mental illness. Many of us have struggled with mental illness ourselves, some of us live in support of loved ones with mental illness, while others work to advocate for those living with mental illness.
We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons and their families affected by mental illness. We do this through advocacy, awareness, education and support.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
Mental illness is diagnosed in 1 out of 5 (20%) of all Americans.
