Bobby Young

Hi everyone, my name is Bobby Young and I have been a member of NAMI since 2015. My involvement with NAMI stems from my son’s 2014 diagnosis of schizophrenia and my living with anxiety. Currently, I co-facilitate with my wife for the NAMI Detroit Family Support Group. Also, I participate in numerous volunteer activities for NAMI as well, serve as a board member for NAMI Detroit. I have been employed with Stellantis for the past 28 years and work as an OSHA certified health and safety specialists for its North American operations. My awesome wife and I have a son, daughter, son-in-law and two beyond-amazing grandchildren. In my free time I enjoy crime investigations with the grand-babies, swimming, power walking, volunteer work with my wife and watching Star Trek.
