Shelly Seguin
Shelly works at Wayne State University’s Department of Psychology in student engagement/programming, teaches Psychology of Everyday Living and serves on the WSU Mental Health, Wellness and Anti-Stigma committee. She is a life-long Wayne Stater, earning her undergraduate degree in psychology and graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from WSU. She joined NAMI Detroit in 2017 in support of loved ones with mental illness and has been serving on the board of directors since 2018. In this role, she’s been able to facilitate a community partnership between WSU and NAMI Detroit. She is trained in NAMI Smarts and as an instructor for the NAMI Family-to-Family Educational class. Shelly is the advisor to the NAMI Warriors student organization, a chapter of NAMI on Campus.
